Botanical, Geographic & Scientific Travellers

Botanical, Geographic & scientific Travel

Botanical tourists in Armenia run the gamut interests from amateur flower lovers and birders to students and scientists on field trips into the diverse geography and ecology of the country.  And Armenia has a wide variety of options for all levels of interest.  Research trips can cover a broad range of studies in natural sciences (geography, botany, zoology), physics (physics, astrophysics) and sociology (history, ethnography, archeology, linguistics, armeniology, art).

Birding and Flower Tours have already put Armenia on the map, with birders and botanical tourists coming from around the world.  They come to track, film and marvel at some of the 3500 species of flowers and 349 species of birds that inhabit the country.
