5 DAYS
A little more time but not a lot? Here are two trips that explore essential Armenia in a little more detail.
8 DAYS
The Basic Tour, taking in essential sites in Yerevan, the Ararat valley, the northern regions of Shirak and Lori, Lake Sevan and Vayots Dzor.
10 DAYS
The Basic Tour Plus. Takes the 8-day tour and adds essential sites in upper Siunik, including “Armenia’s Stonehenge” and the monastery of Tatev.
14 DAYS
This two-week tour covers the country in greater detail, taking the 10-day tour and adding Jermuk spa area; “Armenia’s Grand Canyon”; the cave city of Khndzoresk; and the old world charm of Goris.
21 DAYS
This three-week tour covers most of the regions of the country, taking the 14-day tour and adding trips to northern Shirak and the Georgian border; western Lori with Lori Berd and the only native habitat for the Armenian water lily; Ijevan, Shamshadin and Berd; the south shore of Lake Sevan; Selim Pass; the stunning forests of lower Siunik and the desert oasis of Meghri.
