42 The Metsamor Historical Archaeological Museum-Reserve is an important archaeological site near the town of Metsamor. It is home to the ruins of an ancient settlement that dates back to as early as the Bronze Age. The site was discovered in the 1960s, and extensive archaeological excavations have revealed a wealth of artifacts and structures from different periods of history. All the findings, including pottery, metalwork, jewelry, and tools, are exhibited in the museum next to the archaeological site. These artifacts provide insight into the daily life, customs, and traditions of the people who lived in the region during this period.
