Wine Republic

Wine Republic, a great and searing contribution to the dining options at Cascade is a mind-altering account of the French food experience. Wine Republic is not just a wine bar, but it is also a place where you can grab something for lunch- the salads are impeccable. In the evening the place turns into a wine bar as we know it with tapas and other delicacies. Wide umbrellas shade visitors on sunny days, and heat lamps warm people up on cold nights – though the wine does a good job of that, too. True, it's also a place where you'll probably see the odd celebrity or two, but you'll be too involved with your plate of handmade pasta to notice. Just be sure to ask for outdoor seating when you make a reservation.

Abovyan 12

Formally a private home of a doctor, Abovyan 12 has transformed itself into a gift shop and restaurant where you can enjoy large plates of gourmet Armenian classics in one of the many seating areas – but the wrap around patio holds the best seats in the house. When you step in you initially walk through the beautiful gift shop before you walk into the restaurant where you are taken to another world. The inside of the restaurant boasts a homey, art gallery-like ambience, which by day, a canopy of grape vines offer shade, and on many nights live music fills the outdoor space.

Crumbs Bread Factory

Exposed lightbulbs hanging from the ceiling and wood furniture give this corner cafe on the lively Mashtots street a rustic minimalist edge. The patio is the perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee and take in the city. Crumbs uses all natural, artisan methods using recipes and techniques perfected over centuries. Enjoy a sandwich, soup, salad, and more, all handmade in Crumbs kitchen- which serves breakfast all day long. For those with a sweet tooth, a slice of homemade carrot cake with a cream cheese frosting, or an apricot and pistachio tart, should do the trick.

Mosaic Sky Restaurant

Look good – but not like you're trying too hard – when visiting Mosaic Sky Restaurant, a culinary oasis perched atop the prestigious Elite Plaza. The elevator next to ... is your key to getting inside (or rather, outside) the  gorgeous indoor/outdoor restaurant with the most breathtaking view of Mt. Ararat. Head up to the 17th floor to a sleek restaurant and patio perfect for a work lunch. After 5 lounge on the buzzing, open-air roof deck with friends and enjoy the best panoramic views – and one of best party atmospheres – in the city.

Tsirani Garden Restaurant

Tucked away on the edge of Yerevan in Arinj Kotyak is Tsirani Garden Restaurant. Tsiani means apricot in Armenian and at Tsirani Garden Restaurant you can enjoy traditional Armenian food in tiny cottages nestled in a picturesque Apricot garden. The atmosphere itself is worth stopping by and having lunch or dinner, which includes a waterfall, pond, and even a cave. While you dine on delicious Armenian food (the khorovats is a must) and sip on homemade apricot vodka, the kids can amuse themselves in the kids area. Tsirani is an escape from the hustle and bustle of the city center for the whole family.
