Bollywood Actors Huma Qureshi and Saqib Saleem Take Over Armenia

Famous Bollywood actors Huma Qureshi and Saqib Saleem choose Armenia for their birthday trip.

​Famous Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi has recently arrived to Armenia to celebrate her birthday and explore a new culture along with its history. Qureshi arrived to Armenia on July 28 along with her brother, Saqib Saleem, and close friends. The actress chose to spend her birthday weekend exploring the different historical corners of the country.


Throughout her career, Qureshi has received 3 Filmfare Award nominations. Her debut role in Gangs of Wasseypur earned her several nominations, including the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut and the Best Supporting Actress. 


For the past week, Huma Qureshi’s Instagram was spammed with pictures from Armenia as she traveled from one part of the country to another. Her most recent photos capture her posing near the blue waters of Lake Sevan, yet the actress has already visited Etchmiadzin Monastery, Garni Temple and even the famous flea market of Yerevan the “Vernissage Market”. Her stylist, Anisha Jain, also posted pictures of them posing in the Yell Extreme Park.


Saqib Saleem, also well known for his acting and modelling careers, helped his sister enjoy her birthday trip to Armenia and even vlogged some of their adventures. In his vlogs, Saleem recorded himself tasting traditional Armenian dishes and brandy.  In one of the captions to his posts he described Lake Sevan as one of the most picturesque places he’s ever seen.


Both stars seem to greatly enjoy their stay in Armenia. Traveling around country in the company of friends and family is an excellent way to experience Armenia. Located at the crossroads of Europe and Asia, Armenia presents an interesting mix of cultures and landscapes that can be explored by both solo travelers and people visiting with a company.
