The first wide scale “Aurora” international Forum will be held in Yerevan from October 14 to 21. The event will allow Armenia to declare itself as a regional humanitarian, educational, scientific, technological, economic and cultural-innovative center.

The forum program will be devoted to a wide range of issues - from ecology to art, from biodiversity to tourism. At the conference, which will be the first such initiative in the region, leading world experts and opinion leaders from various fields will exchange experiences and discuss examples of successful and revolutionary solutions to various problems - from improving infrastructure to breakthroughs in healthcare and empowering women. The event will help to find solutions to global problems and will contribute to local development.

The forum program includes: the 4th Aurora Prize ceremony, the 2nd Global Innovation Forum, an educational forum, a series of open lectures on the fifth anniversary of the creation of United World College (UWC) Dilijan College, as well as a series of round tables and cultural events. The week will end with a grand concert in Yerevan. Events will be organized in cities across the country. More detailed information about the program can be found here.
The Aurora Forum has been made possible thanks to the combined efforts of partner organizations and goodwill ambassadors - more than 150 prominent representatives of the business, civil and scientific communities. The forum will bring together more than 50 thousand participants from 39 countries.

About the “Aurora” Humanitarian Initiative

The Aurora International Humanitarian Initiative, created on behalf of all the Armenians who survived the Genocide and in gratitude to their saviors, seeks to give modern heroes the opportunity to continue to help people in dire need of humanitarian assistance around the world, thereby continuing the global baton of good. The initiative creates and supports projects aimed at raising public awareness of the most acute humanitarian problems facing the world community, as well as finding solutions to them.
