Learn more about the International Contemporary Art Exhibition coinciding with Yerevan’s 2800th anniversary.

​The International Contemporary Art Exhibition 2018 will be held in Yerevan between 25th of September and 25th of October. Sponsored by the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Activities and Tourism of Italy, the Ministry of Culture of Armenia and with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, ICAE 2018 is the biggest contemporary art exhibition ever organized in the Caucasus region.

The works by over 70 international artists will be exhibited throughout 7 important locations in Yerevan. Throughout the exhibitions the audience will have a chance to witness different mediums such as video, sculpture and photography from world’s top galleries. Aside from the exhibition, the event also includes activities such as workshops and different trainings. 

As the event aims to showcase diversity and creativity among international and local artists, a number of guest artists will hold presentations and workshops with the students of the Fine Arts Academy of Armenia, Terlemezyan State College of Fine Arts, and at the Tumo Center for Creative Technologies. 

The exhibition will be accompanied by a comprehensive two-volume catalogue, published by Manfredi Edizioni, with texts in English by the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Armenia, by curators Mazdak Faiznia and Marina Hakobyan and Shaula International LLC. 

ICAE 2018 is included as a side event in the annual summit of the International Organization of Francophonie in Yerevan and coincides with the celebration of the 2800th anniversary of the capital of Armenia: Yerevan.
