Kapan Local Lore Museum

The Kapan Local Lore Museum, founded in 1969, is dedicated to the preservation, exhibition, and study of the region’s significant archaeological and geological discoveries. The museum’s ground floor showcases the history of the Syunik region during the 19th and 20th centuries, while the first floor is devoted to archaeological exhibits. Among the museum’s most fascinating pieces is a clay vessel shaped like a woman.
