5th International Festival of Crafts in Meghri

On May 16–17, Meghri, as the CIS Cultural Capital of 2026, will host the 5th International Festival of Crafts under the theme “Creative Community, Sustainable Future.”
The festival is initiated by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of the Republic of Armenia and organized by the Hovhannes Sharambeyan Museum of Folk Arts (SNCO).
The two-day program will unite masters from different regions of Armenia and CIS countries on a single platform, representing around 20 fields of folk art.Approximately 40 craftsmen will showcase their works in an exhibition-sale format. The event will feature master classes, along with traditional songs, dances, and musical performances.
Traditional cuisine will also be presented in designated areas.
The festival aims to promote intercultural dialogue, preserve intangible cultural heritage, and contribute to the development of cultural tourism.
