The SunChild International Environmental Festival, founded by the FPWC in 2007, is the first and only of its kind in the South Caucasus region. For many years, the festival has aimed to educate the public through films related to environmental challenges, by raising awareness of current and crucial environmental issues. This year, the 12th SunChild Festival will be held from May 24 to 28 under the theme “Biodiversity: the pulse of nature”.
This year, the 12th SunChild Festival will feature a diverse program, including:
- Screening of more than 40 environmental films
- Animal Carnival Parade
- Exhibition of artworks by international and local artists
- A platform for young people to engage with leading organizations in the field, participate in workshops, and gain practical experience
