As part of the Contemporary Music Festival, audiences are invited to an evening dedicated to Polish chamber music. The Mirzoyan String Quartet, together with guest soloists, will perform works by four prominent composers of the 20th century: Karol Szymanowski, Krzysztof Penderecki, Witold Lutosławski, and Grażyna Bacewicz.

  • Karol Szymanowski — String Quartet No. 1, Op. 37 (1917) — 18 min
  • Krzysztof Penderecki — Clarinet Quartet — 15 min
  • Witold Lutosławski — Recitativo e arioso for Violin and Piano — 5 min
  • Grażyna Bacewicz — String Quartet No. 3 — 16 min

 

Mirzoyan String Quartet

  • Tigran Matevosyan — 1st Violin
  • Ivane Yesayan — 2nd Violin
  • Armen Torosyan — Viola
  • Hayk Babayan — Cello

Soloists: 

  • Anahit Dilbaryan — Piano

The concert is organized in collaboration with the Embassy of Poland in Armenia.

The festival is organized with the support of the RA Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports and in collaboration with the Composers Union of Armenia.
