Then, stay at a local guesthouse, and combine a tasty meal with a glass of homemade wine while listening to the stories of the locals. You can also check out the 13th-century St. Astvatsatsin church on the village's territory. If you visit Areni in October, you can experience the Areni Wine Festival – another reason to eat local delicacies, sip some wine, and take in folk music and dances.

Stunning nature scenes, rich cultural heritage, hiking, and cycling opportunities, and, of course, delicious eats and drinks? That looks a lot like Dsegh. During your visit, reset yourself and blend in with the fascinating natural background. Hike to "Tsover" lake in the nearby dense forests, stroll around the village, check out Armenian writer Hovhannes Tumanyan's house museum, engage in discussions with the locals, and enjoy the local tastes. You can also do horse riding in the forests or rent bicycles to take in the views. And if you’re wondering where you should stay, glamping is a popular choice in Dsegh.
