The Mikoyan Brothers Museum, located near the town of Alaverdi in the village of Sanahin, is a tribute to Anastas and Artem Mikoyan, brothers born in this village who went on to become high-ranking Soviet officials. Artem was a creative genius and co-designer of the MiG fighter jets, while Anastas became the official head of state of the Soviet Union. The museum, located just a 5-minute walk from Sanahin Monastery, even features a real MiG-21 fighter jet on display!
