Each year on April 30, museums around the world come together to celebrate International Museum Day — a global event highlighting the role of museums in cultural life.

In 2024, over 37,000 museums in 158 countries took part in the celebration. In 2026, Yerevan joins once again with a full schedule of events on April 30, including late-night exhibitions, special tours, performances, and free entry at many museums.
