Armenia to Showcase Tourism Potential at ITB Asia 2024

18 October 2024 – The Tourism Committee of the Republic of Armenia announces its participation in ITB Asia 2024, one of the leading tourism trade shows in Asia, held from October 23 to 25 in Singapore. The event gathers top industry players from across the globe, offering a unique platform for countries to promote their tourism offerings to the Asian market.

At ITB Asia, Armenia will unveil its diverse and rich tourism potential, focusing on the country's unique blend of cultural, historical, and natural attractions. The Armenian pavilion will highlight its key attractions, positioning Armenia as an emerging destination for Asian travelers seeking authentic and immersive experiences. This participation underscores Armenia's commitment to expanding its presence in the international tourism market and enhancing its reputation as a must-visit destination in the heart of the Caucasus.

We believe Armenia will capture the imagination of tourists seeking a new and authentic destination," said Susanna Hakobyan, Acting Head of the Tourism Committee of the Republic of Armenia.

Armenia’s exhibit will spotlight the country’s rich and diverse tourism offerings, with a focus on adventure, culture, nature, and gastronomy. Attendees can explore Armenia’s picturesque national parks, perfect for outdoor activities such as mountain climbing and wildlife observation. The exhibit will also invite attendees to immerse themselves in the nation’s rich cultural heritage, from ancient monasteries to traditional crafts. Additionally, it will showcase Armenia’s renowned gastronomy and offer visitors the opportunity to get acquainted with the country’s culinary traditions and 6,100 years of winemaking heritage.

In addition to promoting its tourism assets, The Tourism Committee of the Republic of Armenia will engage in meetings with international partners and tour operators to establish new business relationships and strengthen ties within the Asian market.

During ITB Asia, Armenia’s stand will serve as a hub for media, travel professionals, and tourism enthusiasts interested in learning more about the country.
