The Gusan Song Festival, held in the birthplace of Gusan Ashot, is the first festival dedicated to gusanic music. Its aim is to re-evaluate and present to the public the rich heritage of the gusanic art — a core part of Armenian folk music — as well as to promote the preservation and development of the art of song.
