Dear audience,
The Armenian State Dance Ensemble of the National Center for Folk Music and Dance will launch the 67th concert season with a colorful and splendid performance.
Founded on October 15, 1958, through the initiative of Georgi Asatryan, ballet master Edward Manukyan, and composer Khachatur Avetisyan, the ensemble was established with the aim of preserving the centuries-old legacy and traditions of Armenian national dance and passing them on to future generations, while enriching them. For 67 years, the ensemble has remained faithful to its founding mission.
Throughout the evening, you will enjoy both the ensemble's hallmark performances as well as newly choreographed and restored dances by the current chief ballet master, Gagik Karapetyan.
