B'AREV Festival

B’Arev festival is a mindful gathering held under our bright Sun to welcome the Summer Solstice. As the first conscious festival in Armenia, our mission is to ignite a creative community, renew our way of living, and return to nature as we rise collectively towards the sun – the true meaning of the Armenian greeting, “Barev.”
The festival's aim is to elevate our collective consciousness through ceremony, wellness, music, art, and immersive workshops. During the weekend, a community of artists, teachers, healers, and mystics will assist us in celebration of life and returning to our indigenous wisdom at our sacred Lake Sevan.

The Space
The space this year will have a celestial theme. We have curated elemental zones, land art, a line-up of magical Armenian musicians, and mystical experiences especially for you to leave the festival transformed and equipped with tools to lead an inspired life.
At B’Arev, we stand for mindful party ethics, respect for the environment, connectivity, and loving kindness towards each other. Join the B’Arev family as we host our second B’Arev festival at Zhayr Resort on June 16 thru 18, 2023.

The Team
B’Arev is a collaboration of brave-hearted local and repatriated Armenians from diverse backgrounds, including psychology, mysticism, art, activism, yoga, and music. Our collective intention is to bring a positive impact into the society and serve the soul of the land. After the first B’Arev festival, which was a big leap, we are now convinced that when we have meaningful connections, good intentions, and a focused effort, a bright future is secured.

What to expect
- Check in anytime Friday the 16th
- Event starts Friday
- Opening ceremony Saturday afternoon
- Various workshops all day Saturday
- Live music everyday and DJs every night in dedicated zone
- Closing ceremony Sunday afternoon (the 18th)

Accommodations
- Bring your own tents (your ticket includes free tent pitching). Tents rental available on site.
- Limited number of cabins (reserve your cabin in advance)
- Shower and toilets available in the recreation area
- Wifi internet available
- Drinking water available (bring your own water bottle)

Food
- Food Vendors will be onsite throughout the festival
- Our menu is predominantly Vegan & Vegetarian, with some meat options
- Your own food is welcomed
- We will have a small farmers market from local’s with seasonal produce

- Includes all yoga and meditation classes
- Includes music and all entertainment
- Tent space available for your own tent, tent and sleeping bag rental at the site available
- Cabins available, cost not included here

What to bring
- Pack for Lake Sevan’s climate!
- Bring Swimwear and other comfy clothes
- Comfortable blankets, pillows, sweaters, etc.
- Layers depending on the weather, but jackets and windbreakers are a must for evenings
- Pack your hammocks and foldable chairs
- It’s best to bring your own yoga mats
- Bring notebooks and sketchbooks if needed
- All musical instruments are welcome and encouraged
