The Armenian State Symphony Orchestra presents a majestic evening of classical brilliance, featuring two towering works of the orchestral repertoire.
The evening opens with Edward Elgar’s Cello Concerto, a deeply emotional and introspective masterpiece that stands as one of the most cherished compositions for cello and orchestra. Taking the stage for this performance is internationally acclaimed German cellist Gabriel Schwabe, praised for his expressive power and technical command.
Following the intermission, the orchestra, under the baton of Sergey Smbatyan, will perform Anton Bruckner’s Symphony No. 4 “Romantic”—a lush and monumental work that evokes images of medieval castles, forest hunts, and the grandeur of the natural world.
