APPA presents a unique Ice Tale "The Snow Queen's Story" based on the fairy tale "The Snow Queen" by Hans Christian Andersen in Yerevan, followed by a tour throughout Europe!

For the first time in the history of Armenia, an ice show of world scale will be created, the action on the ice will unfold to the music of the famous Armenian composer Edgar Gyanjumyan, whose enchanting music literally breaks through to tears and at the same time heals the soul. Figure skaters from Armenia and Europe will appear on the ice in a grandiose ice show.

The original, stylish, bright costumes of the figure skaters were created by the best costume designer of Armenia and Director of the Atex Fashion Center, Karine Dnoyan.

The magical story of Hans Christian Andersen "The Snow Queen" is a profound work, veiled in a fairy tale form, like a chocolate candy in a gilded wrapper. This fairy tale is for children and adults about the struggle between good and evil, spiritual warmth and the cold of an icy heart, which the evil queen of ice, snow and blizzard gifted to the boy, Kai․ The New Year's fairy tale tells of warm love and friendship that can move mountains on their way and no universal evil can resist them - this is a miracle that you believe in!

This fairy tale teaches us to believe in the best, teaches us that there are no barriers to true love, and that even the most powerful magic is powerless against the warmth of the human heart. There are numerous productions and screen versions of this fairy tale all over the world, and each director has adapted the fairy tale to his own creative ideas - and almost always it was a success with viewers of all ages. This time, masters from Europe and Armenia will turn the fairy tale into a magical show on ice. Magical gliding and aerial flights (on skates!) will create an atmosphere of fabulousness, unreality of what is happening on stage.

Experienced viewers have seen a lot - figure skating, and perky circus shows, and bright theatrical productions. Our version of "The Snow Queen" is a unique synthesis of genres, organically combining figure skating, framed by bright spectacular lighting effects and the eternal theme of the struggle between good and evil, the victory of the warmth of love over the cold of alienation. The show contains many elements that children and their parents believe in: fairy-tale creatures - the Snow Queen, the Troll, Talking Flowers, shamans, animals - against the backdrop of multifaceted magic and transformations. The storyline will include an abundance of large-scale scenes that can only be realized in an ice show in order to produce an unforgettable effect on the audience using the latest lighting and sound technologies.

The multimedia "effect" constantly takes the audience to different places where the events are unfolding – at first to the house of Gerda and Kai, where the eternally cold Snow Queen looks into the windows, then to the town square, where the children enjoy the New Year holidays and go ice skating, then to the flower kingdom of Prince Narcissus, or to the den of robbers, or to Lapland with the northern lights. That is why we can confidently say that our team's choice in favor of this work for the New Year's family show has a clear line - from the plot ideas to the original costumes and specially written music and dialogues.

The duration of the show is 1.5 hours.

Recommended for children aged 2 and older.

The ice show will be held in English.

Real New Year's MAGIC awaits you!
